Our little California Girl

A few days ago, Gabby and I went outside to get the mail around 8am. There were a few clouds in the sky. Not the big fluffy ones but several little ones (sorry. Don't know the technical term.) Gabby looked up and started giggling. "What are those, Mommy?" she asked. I told her they were clouds and she laughed again. "There are LOTS of them!" In seven months, our little girl forgot what a cloud looks like :-).

Blue skies, sunshine, California! You will get a few cloudy days come winter, but the sun just keeps shining.
In contrast, we've had rain today, more rain tomorrow, and plenty of clouds! It's a welcome relief, though, as we just finished a 3 day hot spell of temps 100 and over. You remember how hot it is when it's in the 90's or higher, right? LOL
Love,
Judy

Oh, yes. I do remember the oppressive Oregon heat. We regularly get temps above 90 here, but it's so much more comfortable than the more humid Oregon heat. I can't even imagine what Texas, Florida, etc must feel like. YUK!
